Snap Inc. is cutting 1,000 jobs, or 16% of its workforce, according to TechCrunch. The company filed WARN notices in California indicating 247 affected employees in Los Angeles County and 73 in Santa Clara County, both effective April 16, 2026, per the state's WARN report.
The cuts represent a significant reduction at the social media and messaging platform company. Snap did not publicly state a reason for the layoffs at the time of the WARN filings.
